We’re in Scotland just ahead of the UK election, but with the Tories almost certainly on their way out most people would rather talk about Taylor Swift’s tour.
Edinburgh is a beautiful and friendly city. We’ve brushed up on our Scottish history with tours of the Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse along with a visit to the National Museum of Scotland.
We’ve has nice walks in the many gardens and along the beach of Portobello. We even made a day trip to St. Andrews and watched (mostly American) golfers finish up on the 18th hole of the Old Course.
Next, we’re headed north for the more strenuous leg of our trip…
