The House Votes for Speaker (Again)

The House of Representatives convenes at 11 a.m. ET to vote again for speaker since no candidate received the 217 votes needed yesterday.

Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA), a key ally of Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) sets expectations: “Just so there’s no surprises: Jordan will likely have FEWER votes today than yesterday — as I expected.
