Doug Sosnik writes in his latest memo:
“This is the first election in living memory that is about the past rather than the future. The candidates are not campaigning on their proposals going forward but rather litigating their prior records. This focus will be the defining element of each campaign in the months leading up to election day.
There are significant policy and regulatory implications from the outcome of the election which are not being debated in the campaign.”
