Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) renewed calls for Sen. Bob Menendez (R-NJ) to resign but stopped short of seeking his expulsion, CNN reports.
Said Booker: “You’re asking a person that’s served with this guy for 10 years. Everything about this makes me feel uncomfortable. Having to call for his resignation makes me feel uncomfortable.
”He added: “I don’t know what’s involved in an expulsion but that sounds like moving before you’ve investigated all of the facts.”
