“In the run-up to this year’s election, polling indicated the U.S. was on track to have a significant and possibly historic gap between how men and women voted for president. President-elect Donald Trump targeted male voters during the race and Vice President Kamala Harris campaigned hard on abortion, betting it would help her attract female supporters,” the Wall Street Journal reports.
“But voters defied those expectations and the gender gap remained the same as in 2020.”
